Booking your first bridal boutique appointment is one of the most memorable milestones in your wedding journey. At The Corner Atelier - Manchester’s newest bridal boutique - we’ve created a warm, laid-back, and truly personal experience designed to help you find your dream dress without any pressure. Whether this is your very first wedding dress trial or you’ve been on the hunt for a while, here’s exactly what awaits you when you step through our doors.

A Warm Welcome

When you arrive at our Prestwich boutique, Nicole will be there to greet you with a smile and a welcome drink. We want you to exhale the moment you walk in - to feel like you’ve entered a calm space where it’s just you, your guests, and the dresses.

A Curated Dress Selection - Just for You

We believe less is more. You won’t find endless rails here; instead, we’ve hand-picked a thoughtful edit of gowns from designers like Kelly Lin, Miss Chloè, and Love and Liberty, along with a selection of beautiful pre-loved gowns. Every piece in our collection is here because we love it - and we think you will too.

Alongside the dresses, we showcase a range of artisan-made accessories, including delicate veils from Rebecca Andrew Bridal and handmade jewellery. These finishing touches allow you to imagine your full bridal look right there in the boutique.

Who to Bring to Your Appointment

For our standard bridal boutique appointments, you can bring up to three guests. If you’ve booked our lux appointment, you may bring four guests for an even more celebratory experience. And if you’d prefer to come alone - that’s absolutely perfect too. We are here to celebrate your wedding journey exactly how you imagine it.

Your Appointment Flow

1. Browse & Select – Take time to explore the boutique and choose 4–6 gowns that catch your eye.

2. Try On & Discover – Your stylist will help you into each dress, offering expert styling advice and gentle guidance to help you decide what feels most like “you.”

3. Revisit Your Favourites – Towards the end, we’ll re-try your top picks so you can make a confident choice.

4. Say Yes to the Dress – Once you’ve found the one, we’ll take your measurements, place your order with a 50% deposit, and set the remaining balance for 4 weeks later.

Our designer lead times range from 14 to 20 weeks, but we can discuss rush orders if you’re working to a shorter timeframe.

What to Wear & Bring

• Nude underwear – think Bridget Jones, not Victoria’s Secret.

• Minimal makeup & no fake tan – our sample gowns will thank you.

• Wedding shoes or similar heels – to get the right proportions for your dress.

Extras

Your dress is just the beginning. We also a gorgeous gifting section with wedding planners, cards, and hen party accessories like sort after BRIDE headbands - perfect for adding your own personality to the day.

Alterations

While alterations aren’t included in the gown price, we work closely with trusted independent seamstresses across Manchester and can recommend someone local. You’re also free to choose your own tailor.
